 Michael saves Neverland curlio

Money Matters Michael Jackson has refinanced his Neverland ranch, saving it from a scheduled public auction on March 19th. The property was to be sold if he failed to pay the $25 million owed on the propery. He worked out a financing deal with Fortress Investment Group to save Neverland. Matt Fiddes, a friend of the Jackson family, says that Michael was never in danger of losing the property.
He added: "I've spoken to his brother, Tito, about it and it's not like it is in the papers.

"It's quite normal for anyone who's a success to have a mortgage on their property because they can get better rates for their money."
It's also quite normal for people to either pay their bills or have their stuff taken away from them. They wouldn't have put up a public auction if they hadn't intended to sell the property.
