Accounts  News   Interactive    Collective     Contact  Violinist reunited with $4 million violin curlio     2008-04-23 17:41:01 Yahoo!       Violinist Philippe Quint has been reunited with a $4 million violin he accidently left in the back of a cab in New York. Philippe left the violin in the cab after he got out at New York's Battery Park early Monday. The cabbie didn't realize that the violin was in the back of the cab until Monday afternoon. Philippe had been calling the Port Authority and the Taxi Commission to find the violin. He was reunited with the violin shortly after the cabbie found it. The violin is a 1723 Antonio Stradivari "Ex-Keisewetter." You would think that one wouldn't leave something that expensive behind.
