Miley Cyrus apologizes for photos

Teen star Miley Cyrus has apologized for two sets of photos making the rounds online. One set features Miley posing with her boyfriend at the time showing off her belly and her bra. The other is about to appear in Vanity Fair. The Vanity Fair photos feature Miley apparently topless and wrapped in a blanket.

Regarding the photos on the Internet, Cyrus said these were "silly, inappropriate shots" and she was sorry if she had disappointed anyone.

"I appreciate all the support of my fans, and hope they understand that along the way I am going to make mistakes and I am not perfect," she said.

She goes on to say that she has learned from her mistakes and that she let herself down.

As for the Vanity Fair pictures, she calls those "embarrassing." Vanity Fair released a statement saying that Miley's parents and/or her minders were present at the photo shoot at all times and they all saw the pictures as they were digital.

For the set of pictures featuring Miley and her then boyfriend, she should apologize. I hope she has learned a lesson - that "private pictures" never stay that way. Now for the Vanity Fair pictures, Miley owes no one an apology. Let me state that again - Miley owes no one an apology for the Vanity Fair photos!. Whether they are inappropriate or not doesn't make a bit of difference. She is 15 years old and 15-year-olds are not allowed to make important and vital decisions for a very good reason. They are not adults yet. The individuals who should apologize to the fans and to Miley are those adults who were present at the photo shoot and were supposed to be watching out for Miley. Whether that was her parents or someone hired by them, that is who owes the fans an apology for tarnishing their role model.

	The picture in Vanity fair is not good at all, as a photographer, she is over-rated. This one reminds me of the ones of Jessica Biel in Gear a few years ago, like kiddie porn. If I wanted to take a saucy picture of Miley, it for sure wouldn't look like I walked in on my 13 year old sister in a bedsheet. ewwwh big time ewwwh! Will Miley is a precocious, beautiful and well developed. A tiny bit of showing of her bod is okay but her spirit and bursting in to womanhood it the real focus here. These photos and the concept is way off mark. Bad on Miley's handlers and the Vanity fair crew, who are nothing more that pulp, loose women!

	i've said it before and I will say it again here. This young teenage girl needs to FIRE her mother and get some real management. miley's mother is in way over her head! This parents need to reign this child in poste haste before she goes the way of ... well any number of others. sadness in the making. annie is by far and away one of the most important photogs our country has ever produced. to suggest that she is over rated is - quite frankly - uninformed. to further suggest that a 13-year-old girl is "well developed" is indecent at best will. she is a teenager and should be viewed and experienced as such. not a woman. a teenage girl. not an adult. a teenage girl. lets get a new pair of glasses for you will. a pair that has a frame built out of age appropriateness and respect. if you were to have made such a comment about my lovely daughter when she was 13 i'd of socked you in the nose.
