Amy Winehouse gets out of drug charges in video

Amy Winehouse has once again gotten out of a nasty situation. If you recall, earlier this year the British tabloid The Sun released footage of Amy allegedly smoking crack. The police vowed to investigate the matter, and even talked to the singer for several hours in February about the matter. Yesterday the authorities decided that there would be no charges against Amy for the incident. Spokesman Chris Goodman said police had finished their investigation and confirmed no charges would be brought against the 24-year-old singer.
"Amy is pleased to be able to move on and concentrate on music and particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly awaited festival performances this summer," he said in a statement.
I'm sure the authorities will get another shot at Amy sometime soon. She, like my favorite druggie Pete Doherty, can't seem to stay out of trouble for too long.
