So You Think You Can Dance drops to Top Ten

So You Think You Can Dance dropped to ten tonight as yet another couple was eliminated. These ten will be the ones going out on the tour. Next week, the couples get broken up as well so it all gets more important.

They opened the show with a very cool group performance to "Closer" choreographed by Tabitha and Napoleon. It had a glow-in-the-dark element to it as well.

Nigel Lythgoe informs us that there will indeed be a battle at the finale, as Robert Muraine and Phillip Chbeeb will battle on the finale.

Then we quickly get into the results with Comfort & Thayne and Katee & Joshua coming out for their results. Katee & Joshua were safe while Comfort & Thayne were in the bottom three. Mia Michaels tells them that it was inevitable that they would be there. She thinks America has been telling them something. They both bring something special to the competition but they haven't reached their highest potential yet.

Next up for results were Jessica & Will and Chelsie & Mark. Jessica & Will were in the bottom three. Mary Murphy's heart was aching to see them there as their one routine was sensational. She promises she will fight for the two of them. She pointed out that Debbie Allen, Will's Mentor was in the audience.

Last up for results were Courtney & Gev and Kherington & Twitch. Courtney & Gev were safe, while Kherington & Twitch were in the bottom three. Nigel is looking forward to their solos. He says that this shows that no one is safe as they were one of the favorites. They showed the audience that they were uncomfortable and they didn't get the votes. He tells them that it's about consistency.

Then we're treated to a guest dance by the Alvin Ailey American Dance Studio Company, who have been in existence for 50 years.

The bottom six performed their solos. First up was Comfort dancing to "Oh Timbaland" by Timbaland. Thayne picked "Come Home" by Onerepublic. Jessica picked "Best for Last" by Adele, while her partner Will chose "Daraijan" by Kodo. Kherington chose "All We Are" by Onerepublic while her partner Twitch picked "We Gonna Win" by Miri Ben-Ari.

Katy Perry performed her hit song "I Kissed A Girl." Boy that dress was short wasn't it? She better not bend over! By the way if you think that song is disturbing, you should hear the love song song to a mannequin.

The girls elimination is up first. Nigel tells Kherington that she isn't just a pretty face, but she has grown and danced brilliantly. As for Comfort & Jessica they discussed them from the beginning of the season. Nigel himself changed his mind. Comfort brought it in her solo. As for Jessica they have been disappointed throughout the season with her but she has had some decent performanes in there so they are keeping her. WHAT?!?! Are they NUTS? How long are they going to give this mediocre dancer a pass just because she has the potential to be good. Kate Moss has the potential to gain weight, but that doesn't make her a plus sized model! Comfort has grown so much and deserved to stay more than that horrid little wench who just gets by without trying to put any work in it.

As for the guys, Nigel told Twitch that they were glad he was in the bottom three as it makes everyone wake up and vote. It also gives them an opportunity to see his unique style, one they can't get rid of. I was worried for him, as the judges didn't seem to be clapping when he finished his solo! Nigel tells Will that he wouldn't be out of place with the dance company that performed earlier and they can't lose him either. That means Thayne is going home, though Nigel says they would have liked to keep all the boys and get rid of two girls instead. He tells Thayne that Mia is upset, even though they were unanimous and that she will be working with him soon.

	I can't believe Kherington and Twitch were in the bottom 3!!! And Thayne had to go. Twitch or Will couldn't go! Next week it should be Jessica. It's getting hard to say on the guys, maybe Gev?
