Metallica plan winter tour

Metallica fans should be happy this winter. The band has planned an extensive tour beginning in October. The tour starts in Arizona on October 21st and runs through January of next year. The group will make 32 stops on the tour.

The Sword will open all tour dates, with Down joining them for the October and November dates, Lamb of God joining them for the December dates and Machine Head taking the January dates. No sale dates have been announced as of yet.

Metallica's new album, "Death Magnetic" hits stores on September 12th.
