So You Think You Can Dance drops to 12

So You Think You Can Dance dropped to 12 dancers tonight as we lost yet another couple. First up was the group dance. They danced to "Brand New Day" from the Wiz, choreographed by Tyce Di Orio.

Then we were immediately into the results. Randi and Evan were safe. The kiss of death via the Quickstep continues, as Karla and Vitolio landed in the bottom three. Janette and Brandon were safe as were Melissa and Ade. Kayla and Kupono were also in the bottom three. That surprised Mia, who told them they were the best last night for her. Caitlin and Jason were also safe, leaving Jeanine and Phillip in the bottom. Mary tells them that this is the closest competition in SYTYCD history.

Our guest dancers were from Complexion Contemporary Ballet. It was really weird. I didn't get it at all.

Then it was time for the solos. Karla was up first, dancing to "Blackbird" by Dionne Farris. Next up was Vitolio, dancing to "Here Comes Goodbye" by Rascall Flatts. Then it was Kayla's turn, dancing to "Stupid" by Sarah McLachlan. Kupono was next, dancing to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole. Jeanine picked "Moonlight Sonata" by Smart Sleep with Classical for her solo. Her partner Phillip picked "You'll Find a Way" by Santigold.

I thought that Kayla was the worst of the girls, while Kupono was the worst of the guys. They both just looked desperate.

Our guest performance was next. Kelly Clarkson performed her new single "I do not Hook Up."

Finally it's time for our final results. First up are the girls. Nigel tells them that the judges are unanimous. First to be sent to safety is Jeanine. Nigel tells her that this was the strongest solo of the evening and brilliant. He then tells Kayla that she is one of the judges' favorites. He adds that her solo was static, just throwing in a lot of kicks and not dancing from the heart. Nigel tells Karla that she is a good dancer, but she isn't capturing the star quality, so she is going home. I guess it pays to be a judges' favorite doesn't it?

Next up are the guys. Nigel tells us that they are again unanimous. Phillip is told that he is unique and superb at what he does. Nigel tells him that he has a lot of hard work left to do so they are keeping him. He tells Vitolio that he presents himself brilliantly and he looks like he will be a major star. He fails to deliver at the end of the day though. Nigel tells Kupono it was a weak solo. They want much more passion from him. Kupono stays, Vitolio goes. Again, I disagree with this decision. If you're supposed to be dancing for your life and you fail miserably, shouldn't you go home?

	I'm sorry you quit reviewing "So You Think You Can Dance" (although I know I was the only one to respond) But I like to know your opinion anyway!
