 Springsteen greets Michigan fans by saying `Hello Ohio` dusty

Live Performances If there is a rivalary between Michigan and another state, it would be Ohio. If you would put two cities from each state in that rivalary it would be Detroit and Cleveland.

Apparently Bruce Springsteen forgot that he already did his concerts in Cleveland last week and that he moved on to Detroit, Michigan as during the concert he greeted his Detroit fans at his concert by saying "Hello Ohio!".
After repeating the Ohio reference three times over the first half hour of the show, Springsteen caught his mistake with a whispered assist from Steven Van Zandt..

"I'm all right," Springsteen said about his mis-speak, according to the Detroit Free Press. "That is every front man's nightmare."

Steven tried getting Bruce's attention to correct him, but failed and Steven hoped he could talk to him before Bruce would say it again. After the third time that Bruce greeted Michigan wrong, Steven really felt he had to say something as he felt that the crowd was about to rebel.

Nice of the fans to forgive Bruce for messing things up though.
