 DJ AM estate sues over plane crash that `caused` his death dusty

Legal Stuff The estate of DJ AM has decided to sue several defendants for a wrongful death lawsuit.
Goldstein sustained serious injuries in a plane crash in September 2008 in South Carolina and later died of an accidental overdose of prescription drugs and cocaine in August in New York.

Yes that's right, he died from a presecription drugs and cocaine. For some reason I don't think the lawsuit will go very far because as far as I know cocaine is still an illegal substance known to be deadly if used with certain prescription drugs. If the estate would have watched Judge Judy more often they would know that the likelyhood that they will win is very slim, you can't do something illegal and then expect to win a lawsuit over the consequences from that action. My best guess is that the estate is hoping to settle out of court. So it probably has nothing to do with justice.
