 Cleveland Orchestra strikes over their contract dusty

Money Matters The musicians of the Cleveland Orchestra has gone on strike because their contract talks with management didn't go the way they wanted.
The musicians' contract expired last summer. The musicians say striking at midnight Sunday means they likely won't make their planned trips to Indiana University and to Miami.

The reason for the disagreement is; The board of trustees need to control their costs to save the jobs of the musicians, they already wanted to reduce pay and leave six positions unfilled. Of course the musicians are unhappy about that, but it's better than going under and having no job at all.

The reason why the board is lacking money is because the number of visitors have gone down immensely. Especially because they are located in Cleveland one of the cities that are doing badly because of the weak economy.
