"So I went away to Miami, and at night I would also go in the studio and make records, just for no reason, just to get back to the fun of making records. Before I knew it, three weeks later I had, like, 10 songs done. I was, like, 'Hey, I might as well just throw out an album just the way I produced it,' as far as like having no big plan. The record was made full of hits, just uptempo songs. It was real rough and raw. That's the vibe that I think hip-hop needed right now."
