The movie didn't make the Top 10 rankings coming in at No 11 and took just $2.5 million at 1,200 cinemas. Poor reviews and the lowest film attendance figures at American cinemas so far this year as the country prepares for war are blamed for the poor figures.

Carey was unable to publicise the film in the run up to the opening as she was hospitalised for a nervous breakdown and has only just checked out of the clinic. Carey's film was the only new movie released in America last weekend.
