Jasmine Trias, the American Idol contestant that ended up on the third place in the competition got offered a record deal that will get her at least $100.000 the first year.
The label that offered her a contract is Quiet Storm, which is an independant record company from Hawaii. They do not have any big name artists on their label and it seems they have mainly reggea and Hawaiian music.

jasmine suck!! that simple,,who and the world wrote they like her voice because she dont yell like fantasia or latoya or diana...?? thats because she has no vocals,,that simple..and the 3 ladies dont yell..they SING!!!! big difference..
Jasmine is one big asset ..the record company who will signed her will be more known in the entertainment industry. Jasmine has the high standard of Talent , Personality and Charisma.
I'm so at a lost why Fantasia won the "American Idol". She does not have a nice voice. For me La Toya and Diana Degarmo should have placed 1st and 2nd while Jasmine was rightfully 3rd. I heard somebody praised Fantasia as the young version of "Aretha Franklin". Frankly speaking, she sounds more like "Ertha Kit".

Congratulations on going as far as you did. For someone your age, you showed alot a poise and courage. I can see a star quality in you that will shine brightly in years to come. You need more time to become what you want most. But already you are well on the way. Don't give up! i really didnt like jasmins voice, she was usually off tune, besidess everyone says she is so flawless as i have read but to me she looks more fake than perfect. she really got on my nerves, she got a higher place than she deserved
It was commendable that Jasmine got the support from Hawaii. Hopefully, other people of color will take note of that and support their own who exhibit "true" talent. Jasmine should never have been on American idol. Her singing voice was only average. She was often off key. The judges gave her far too much grace from the beginning. Anyone who can sing should feel encouraged about making it if Jasmine got as far as she did on American Idol.
My comment, Jasmine can sing very well but not with an extra-ordinary aspect on her voice to be called as a DIVA, just an ordinary singer that can reach the tune of the song.
Hey, she hasn't responded to it yet.. Remember, she might want to get a degree and be a nurse practitioner, a career way more stable than a singing career...Gotta think about the long-term events...
Jasmine sang well, but not well enough to be in the final two. I have thought that the reason Jasmine made into the final three was the "guy vote" meaning that when she wore that fitted black dress all the guys got on the phone and voted for her! She did look hot!

fantasia sucks ass..who ever said that she doesnt yell..your wrong..da heck are you talkin about..fantasia does yell and her voice sounds so grimey..her voice sounds so terrible..i dont think she deserves to be an american idol..i like latoyas voice better she deserved it more..and i dont think anyone will by fantasias album because her voice is to soulful to churchy..i just hate her voice its so horrible
