Wayne fronted the Birmingham, England, group the Move from 1966-70. Noted for its unpredictable live shows, the band achieved a run of U.K. hits that combined pop, psychedelia and a heavier rock style. Its best-known tunes include "Night of Fear," "Flowers in the Rain," "I Can Hear the Grass Grow," "Cherry Blossom Clinic" and "Wild Tiger Woman."
