American Idol puts up wrong numbers for 3 contestants

American Idol displayed the wrong telephone number during the recap of the contestant's performances. One very observant viewer pointed this mistake out to us, and we're quite grateful. I'm usually too busy making notes to actually watch the show anymore for these little details.
The telephone numbers put up for Mikalah Gordon, Anwar Robinson, and Jessica Sierra were wrong. As you can see in the pictures, the upper number is correct, but the lower numbers are wrong. Mikalah's number is supposed to 1-866-IDOLS-09, but the lower number was displayed as 1-866-43657-01, which was Anthony Fedorov's number. Anwar's upper number was correct, 1-866-IDOLS-10, but the lower number was listed as 1-866-43657-02, which was Carrie Underwood's number. And finally, Jessica's number was 1-866-IDOLS-11, but the lower number given was 1-866-43657-03, which was Scott Savol's number.
The guest who pointed this out wondered if this was really a mistake or if it was yet another way for the producers to lead the voters. I think it truly was mistake, as they've been promoting Anwar heavily anyhow, so to do it to him would be odd to say the least. The producers have less obvious ways of leading the voters anyhow, such as background music being too loud or microphone troubles, and of course the most obvious influence - the judges. Randy and Paula are there to be nice. Simon is there to occcasionally be the one to lead the voters, such as his insistence that Carrie will win. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one getting bothered by it, as it troubles our observant viewer as well. I did enjoy her performance tonight, but I'm also tired of having her crammed down my throat as "the next American Idol." She's good, but she's not that consistently good. There are others who are better and more consistent.
I do feel that should Mikalah be the one to go, as I feel she will be, then her fans will scream bloody murder that it was foul play. A similiar thing happened in the finals of American Idol's season 2, with Clay Aiken's home state having a very hard time voting. I believe that almost no one from his home state got to vote. If the American Idol producers didn't do anything about that, you can bet they won't do anything about this. Beyond that, I think that it won't effect the outcome anyhow, as most people don't pay attention to that bottom number, they read the top number instead.
All y'all need to stop hating on Makalah because she is fabulous and none of y'all are so quit hating she has too much soul for a white girl and people can't stand that but I respect that.....she is young and fabulous and she can pull of a Taylor Dane song and none of these singers here can do that
I really think Mikalah's performance didn't match up to the others', but i really have a huge crush on her. I guess its the way she talks that gets me. And for tyhe one who mentioned FRAN DREXLER, its fran DRESCHER. Pls. get your facts straight before you post.
The term VOTED OFF doesn't really apply for this competition. After all, we ARE voting for our FAVORITES, and so if one contestant had lesser votes than the others, he wouldn't be necessarily be worse than the others. Case in point: if, for example I liked Anwar Robinson, and i wasn't a subscriber of Cingular or my phone line was cut-off due to unpaid bills, or even yet, I live in ASIA!!!. how the heck am I supposed to vote!!!! I'm actually from the Philippines and we get American Idol here via satellite. Although we're not Americans, we still got our favorites. How are we supposed to let the producers of the show know how we like? Are the producers trying to tell us that the American Idol Show is exclusively for AMERICANS ONLY???? Please react!!!

AI started airing in the Philippines last year, where not one but two finalists were of Filipino blood. I don't really care much that we can't vote from here (the show's called AMERICAN Idol), but if we could've, Jasmine Trias and Camille Velasco would've gotten millions more votes.

Well I guess it's a good thing that people from the Phillippines can't vote 'cause Jasmine and Camille couldn't sing a single note in tune. It was an embarrasment to AI that Jasmine made it to the Top Three, and everyone with a set of working ears knows that.
Supporting someone on the basis of where they're from, or what color their skin is, is wrong. Support should be given because of a person's ability (hey, I only like Constantine, I won't vote for him unless he had the best performance). The only people you'll see my votes going to are my top three, regardless of whether or not I like the person (such as the case of Nadia making my top three two weeks ago) or if I love the person (like Constantine, who only gets my votes if he makes into the top three). Scott Savol is from Ohio, near my neck of the woods, and they have voting parties here. You won't see me at one of them, because they're wrong. When and if Scott makes it into my top three, he'll get my vote. Then it will be based on performance and not the fact that he's from Ohio.
MIKALAH SO SHOULD HAVE got ANOTHER CHANCE! She just had rough performances the last 2 weeks! She can SO sing AWESOME! I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HER GET ANOTHER RECORD DEAL OR HAVE A SURPRISE SHOW TO VOTE TO BRING BACK 1 FORMER CONTESTANT FOR ANOTHER CHANCE!

Carrie is definitly going to be the next American Idol! Her vocals are phanomenal! Carrie is a great singer no matter if she is a country girl or rocker! I wish that Carrie had a website, Because personally I think she is that good! Mikalah Is the worst she sounds like a singer holding her nose! I couldn't bare watching another show with her in. Thanx America for voting Mikalah off! Anwar is a great singer too, but he needs to pick better songs, He is so cute too. Vonzell is a wonderful singer, before I didn't like her that much, but now I have fallen in love with her. Paula on the other hand says the same stupid words all the time, she barely talks when she has to say something and never lets Simon finish, and just says all performances are great when some are hideous. She needs to learn how to speak her own words! Simon is funny I like him becuse he's honest. My farvorite judge is Randy ( he's the bomb!) and my favorite contestant is CARRIE SHE IS THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL! PLEASE AMERICA LET HER WIN !!! :)

i dont care if the numbers are wrong. they were sent home anyway, so it dont matter. i think they all should have had wrong numbers except Constantine. i think all votes should have crossed lines and landed in hi sinbox for the whole show. he should have won. Carrie was good, i liked her, but Constantine was better. i was literally praying during the finale that Bo wouldnt win. he needed to go home a long time before then. he should have been sent home in Hollywood. Constantine was voted off by a messed up phone line so he couldnt recieve votes, so they all should have been sent home and the show should have been cancelled off the air becasue they are cheaters and the show is definitely rigged.
