Queen of the Bottom Three on RockStar: INXS stays safe

Suzie McNeil has proclaimed herself the Queen of the Bottom Three. Unfortunately she did that a week too late, as she was completely safe this week. RockStar: INXS kicked up the drama tonight with a one hour results show, featuring some reaction from the rockers back at the mansion after the show.
Next up were some short scenes of what happened back at the mansion after the show. Jordis Unga was upset at "butchering" a really good song, Marty Casey talked about the "less screaming" comment, and Ty Taylor thought that some people didn't do their best and thought they should feel what it's like to be in the bottom three. I wonder if he was talking about Jordis?
Brooke Burke told the rockers that if they felt they deserved the encore, to raise their hands, amazingly enough JD Fortune raised his hand (who would have predicted that?) also going up were Suzie's, Ty's, and Deanna's hands. Brooke asked Ty and Deanna why they felt they deserved the encore. Ty felt like it was a show last night, and not a competition. Deanna was really proud of the song she and Ty wrote. Brooke also asked Mig Ayesa why he didn't feel like he deserved it. Mig answered that he was proud of his song, but felt like others were more deserving.
Dave Navarro said that the performer who got the encore tonight always sets the bar high vocally and nails their performances. But last night, this person went above and beyond. The self-proclaimed Queen of the Bottom Three, Suzie McNeil got the encore this week. She was shocked, but managed to rock the house with her performance of "Start Me Up" by the Rolling Stones.
Then we got an extended look at what happened back at the mansion. The rockers toasted the two original songs. Deanna was upset about the comments that she's in her comfort zone every week. Marty said that if INXS tells him to tone it down, he'll turn it up. He felt like he needed to do it like that because music in general is moving towards more intense stuff like System of a Down. Jordis was terribly upset about her performance, wondering what she would do in the bottom three. Ty wanted to see if the bottom three would reflect the performances.
Brooke then went through and talked to several contestants. Marty talked about his decision to go the opposite direction from what INXS told him. He said he does listen to what INXS tells him and incorporates that into his performance. But he pointed out that he's sat on a stool for two weeks and sang a ballad before that. He wants to meet the band halfway, but can't go all the way or he'll lose his personality. Dave told Marty he misses the scary conductor guy. Tim Farriss back-peddled from the band's comments last night and said that it was one of the best performances. Their comments to him were a test, he said, to see how Marty would handle it, and he handled it great. I agree that he handled it great, but wonder if criticism by fans motivated Tim's back-peddling, or if it truly was a test.
Deanna Johnston talked about her "comfort zone" pointing out that writing an original in hours, rehearsing it, and all that jazz was definitely not comfortable. She says she can't change who she is in her core. Dave agreed that they need to stay true to who they are, as only one of them will get the job, the rest will need to stay who they are. Kirk said the band wants to push the rockers, to see what they are capable of.
JD said it really is about meeting the band halfway, but some people may be better suited for that while others are better suited for other things. I think that was a really diplomatic way for him to say "I'm the one who can meet you halfway, not the others". Dave thinks that JD is really suited to sing INXS' back catalogue. JD says the back catalogue is the reason he became a singer.
Suzie made a hat especially for tonight that said "Queen of the Bottom Three." She's come to terms with it, and will give INXS no reason to say goodbye. Dave told her that she has one of the strongest voices in the competition and he will wear her hat if she is in the bottom three.
Jordis took a big risk with "Dream On" but she didn't realize how big of a risk it was until she went into rehearsal. She said she would probably do the same thing again until she got it right. She also said she would be upset if she wasn't in the bottom three, as everyone else did great. Dave agreed it was Jordis' worst performance ever, but it showed a lot of guts to go for that note. If she did land in the bottom three, at least it would be because she had the guts to do that. Jon would love to hear Jordis sing an INXS song.
Brooke announced that the bottom three at the end of the show last night were Deanna, Ty, and Jordis. Also in the bottom three at some point during the voting were JD, Marty, and Mig - making Suzie the only one who wasn't in the bottom three. Suzie was shocked and said it felt really good to not be in the bottom three. Dave was just thrilled that he didn't have to wear the hat.
One at a time the bottom three were announced, and then performed. The first person into the bottom three was Ty. Dave said he completely didn't understand why Ty was in the bottom. Kirk said the band liked his performance last night and wanted to hear "What You Need" tonight. I like Ty's performance, he had loads of energy and interaction with the crowd. Kirk said it was a great performance, and wanted to know how Ty felt singing INXS. Ty said there is something about the music that makes him want to dance.
Next into the bottom three was Deanna. Dave told her to forget about the comfort zone thing and just do her thing. Andrew told her to sing "Elegantly Wasted." I'm not a big fan of Deanna's voice, but she did look very comfortable singing that song. Andrew asked her how it was to sing INXS. Deanna said she loves to rock hard and dance and this combines both for her.
That left JD, Mig, Marty, and Jordis still in danger. None of them had been in the bottom three before. Just a quick question here - how many of you were screaming at your TV "LET IT BE JD!"? I was!! Anyhow it ended up being Marty, which really upset Dave. Dave called it an absolute crime and tossed his mic down. Jon pointed out that last week Marty was in the top three, and now the bottom three. They wanted him to sing "Don't Change." I think he did very good at meeting the band halfway. He was still himself, a little intense and hard rock, but still singing an INXS song. I thought he was excellent, and apparently so did the crowd. Jon told him soak it up and called it impressive. Marty found it very powerful to be in the bottom three.
At decision time, Tim said that it's not such a bad thing to be in the bottom three anymore, as they get to hear the rockers sing INXS songs. Marty did an awesome job, and would not be going home. Instead they sent Deanna home, which shocked me. I thought they were huge fans of her voice and would save her for another week and send Ty home instead. Deanna was upset, as were the other contestants. Almost everyone was crying. Deanna said she really wanted to lead INXS. She thanked the other rockers and told them they were really talented.
I do wonder why the band back-peddled on their comments from last night. They seemed so sure of themselves that Marty wasn't singing properly and that Mig wasn't singing INXS type songs. Now tonight they seem to have changed their minds. I could bring up an old American Idol conspiracy theory, that they want those guys in the bottom. I do feel that Marty was in the bottom mainly due to the comments by INXS. Ultimately it was a good thing for Marty, I think, to be in the bottom three. He got to show off that he can do INXS songs and still be himself. That puts Marty a step ahead of JD, Mig, and Jordis. I also think that Marty's comments tonight were very wise. I don't think that the winner should so readily give themselves up just to be a member of INXS. I don't know if that's what INXS is looking for or not, but it won't do anyone any good. I still have high hopes that INXS is truly looking for a new member, not just a temporary fill-in. I also think more than ever that Marty has a good shot at the winning position.
Jordis doesn't have the vocal range. Marty is too outside the INXS box for their comfort. Their safe choice would be Mig, but I think they are moving away from safe. They don't want to tour with JD because he is a loose canon and a bit immature. Ty is better suited signing rock/soul. Suzie has the vocal talent and is the sleeper here.
Come on ... it was very obvious the Deanna, by far was the worst remaining RockStar. She had limited range and never did anything different. I think that finally they have removed the weakest performers and now will have a tough time picking. As much as JD has been shown as the villian, he potentially has the most mainstream selling power of the bunch and would be the best received by the masses. Also grouped into the safe picks are Mig and Suzie, either of those three I would be happy with. Jordis and Marty need their own bands to front-line and make their own. Ty... well he is a drama queen and he should shave his mohawk...He is my prediction for next week. He hasn't grown or changed or done much different. He plateaued to early!
I never cry watching reality shows, but I was darn hurt for some strange reason, when Deanna went home!
I will be honest that I had not connected with her initially, but she kind of grew on me slowly and I thought that she was fantastic on performance night!
The lines from Joni Mitchell song, “Big Yellow Taxi” played in my head all night long…
“Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got
Till it's gone”
The bright side is though Mark Burnett is negotiating record deals for all the contestants, so maybe I am hoping that Deanna’s career takes off and she becomes a force to be reckoned with!
Jordis escaped bottom three? Oh Lord! Is the audience tone-deaf?
Look, I have always been a strong Jordis supporter and I even think that she can take INXS on a new plateau as the lead!
However, if I think she messed up, I would say she messed up!
At this stage in competition, most are forgetting that this is not only about how one looks or how one performs, it comes down to how good one can sing a designated song!
And Jordis murdered the song and if Jordis escapes bottom three, how in God’s name can one question J.D. surviving?
When I heard that Marty, Jordis, J.D. and MiG were in bottom three, I thought it was but obvious that Jordis is the one!
Let’s face it Curlio, J.D. did not murder the song as Jordis did!
So I had no illusions that it might be J.D., but what I did not expect was the fact that it might be Marty!
I had said earlier, I would be pissed if Marty was in bottom three and trust me I was! And as much as this kills me, I would have done exactly the same thing Dave did!
I hate it when my negative theories come to pass, but honestly Marty did not deserve to be there!
Every curse is blessing in disguise! At least Marty proved he can make INXS songs his own and I loved it!
I understand why Ty survived! And no offence to any race here, but race card would have featured major time, if he would have left this week, simply because he composed Deanna's song, which I loved and secondly, lot of people loved his 'Proud Mary', which I did not even like!
Technically, he had two things working against him, but I think these two things worked for him! I think he would bite the dust next week, unless Suzie from her high messes up!
You know something; the reasons why people want J.D. around are so ridiculous that I don’t even want to go into that discussion!
Dave telling J.D. that he is really suited to sing INXS’ back catalogue was not exactly a compliment – I would be insulted, if I was competing, because that is patronising way of saying that you are only good at doing covers!
And maybe that is my interpretation, but most who support J.D. have admitted that he reminds them of MH!
I think neither J.D. nor the die-hard fans understand that this is not about finding new MH!
Curlio - I agree with you! Although I like MiG, Marty earned my respect last night and now with the exception of J.D. I think it would be heartbreaking deal to watch Wednesday shows, because maybe, just maybe even Ty leaving would be hard to take!
Oh, I forgot – after Deanna, I wanted Suzie to get the encore, but I thought if she lands in bottom three after an encore, that would be the worst thing ever and I did not want to jinx it! I am truly happy she got the well deserved and way overdue encore!
Personally, I believe Marty was in the bottom three was because he was looking absolutely psychotic when he performed. After INXS's "screaming" observation, I made the comment that he was probably going to let the air out of the band's tires when he stormed off. His intensity went a little over the edge--he was the "scarey" guy. Is this what INXS is looking for?
Why, oh why was Jordis not in the bottom three? How are all these voters thinking?!!! She has a great voice but is not what a lot of people are making her out to be!
I think the top three will be Mig, Marty, and JD (whether you like him or not). It would be really cool to see Marty win but ...is *INXS* ready for the new direction??!! The fans, especially the younger ones, are!! Mig seems like a safe bet, though.
I'm an almost-40 yr. old fan who grew up with INXS in my high school and college years and I really miss Michael, but am anxious to see what the future holds for the band.
Honestly, I am now completely confused, and don't know who I want to win this competition. I still don't think a girl should win. I do like Suzie a lot, and even though Jordis butchered her song the other night, I like her too. I just don't know if either of them are right for the band. J.D and Ty - not sure about either of them leading INXS (even though I like them too). I think the comments from INXS about Marty had A
LOT to do with him being in the bottom three. I think Marty is different, but could be good for INXS. I still think Mig is great, but I don't know if his personality blends well with the other INXS members. He seems a little too sweet sometimes. My top two choices are Marty and Mig.
Though I have never voted, I have been watching the show as often as possible. Each time that Ty is voted into the bottom three, I am very dissapointed. He seems to be an exceptional performer and is a team player, always helping and working with the others, unlike JD who prefers to stand on his own pedistal, acting like he is above everyone else. Marty gets my vote for the next INXS lead singer.
Who needs the drama? Let's boot JD and have a real competition instead of a soap opera! It's like nails on a chalk board watching his antics. ...JD's attempt at being sincere is nauseating! You can tell it's getting to the rest of them, Ty's comment about not having to anounce he wants to lead the band.
GO MiG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BOTTOM LINE PERIOD ! There is only one person that has the entire package and that is marty casey he already writes sings composes stars as the front man for a long time for a very talented band that has already cut several of there own cds by the way somebody is kicking themselves for not signing whenthey had the chance too bad too sad he is comitted only to the music and the show no baggage no bad habbits just a star waiting to burn bright.
Many have said that Jordis has had "one off night", and much has been made of her "one bad note". In fact, I think we all remember her attempt to sing "Layla" ; also, did anyone listen to the first verse of "Dream On"? Although she does have a certain "cool factor", and I was most impressed with her performance of "The Man Who Sold the World", I do not believe Jordis is right for INXS. Also, consider the age of these INXS men; Jordis could be their daughter.
Suzie has the chops to be the lead singer of INXS. Her voice is amazing, and she seems to get better and better each week.
Ty is an incredible talent, but for some undefinable reason I cannot see him in the position of lead singer for this band.
I was pleased to see that Marty can sing in tune, and I felt his performance in the bottom three elevated his chances; however, I do not see him ultimately winning this competition.
J.D. is an interesting specimen. That cannot be denied. He is a very smart cookie who really seems to have things figured out. Have people noticed how much more subdued J.D. has been this week. The heat is on, and he is seriously sizzling. His performance of "Cold as Ice" showed a different side to J.D.- a much more controlled but still interesting performance. I feel that he is a legitimate threat and would be a very good fit for the band.
Mig is the sweet, sexy guy that you can't help but love, and I think he may very well be the front runner, perhaps for those reasons rather than his singing ability. I don't think he has the chops of a Michael Hutchence, but he seems to be a perfectionist, so I think he would be willing to do what it takes to get there.
Regardless of who is chosen, we will be hearing more from all of these talented singers.
Sprout your cried because you have a big caring intellectual heart, because you are the biggest fan of the show, and because her tears and emotional expressions were the real deal. Therefore, I , Will, the second biggest fan and because you are busy getting between your girlfriend and the house band, am now volunteering to comfort in any way possible the sexy rockin’ blonde diva Deanna! I know I am a kind person........
Curlio’s recap was spot on as usual.
How about a few comments!!
When I see JD, I am reminded of the story of the turtle who lets a scorpion talk him into a ride across the stream, to only wind up stung in the end. Just as the turtle dies he hears the scorpion exclaim “well you knowed I wus a scorpion”!
I have affection for all the rockers except JD. It will be sad as they leave but, they are getting great exposure if they want to make a living in this cruel business. I know a year from now I would be interested in hearing how they are all doing!
I don’t quite understand the INXS bashing. These guy are and were part a musical happening, they were worldwide rock superstars. These guys don’t need the money, they are richer than rich. They love rock they are not dancin’ monkeys for the man. Everyone is entitled to an opinion but I am not sure I care what the generation that gave us 50cents, Brittany Spears, Lindsay, Hillary, Usher, Eminem, the Two dumb tuna sisters, Justin Timberlake....... and JD says. Or, at least those of it that make the above listed popular. Do you think much of this current crap has any rock legacy? If you do get a ticket to realityville! Sprout, was that just wrong!
Don’t worry about me I have a helmet! I had to get it out of my system.
Let’s face it Curlio, J.D. did not murder the song as Jordis did!
I totally disagree......JD is no Lou Gramm.....no real passion just that creepy way he moves around trying to be sexy.......NOT......gives me the willies so bad I can't even watch him.....he does have some vocal talent but he thinks WAY TOO highly of himself to make him likeable.... MIG seems like too obvious a choice although I like him........Susie is a real drama queen but she could be the dark horse here they do seem to like her performances..... Jordis is too good for them....she on to bigger and better things......Marty is a rockstar already ....and if he doesn't win he'll go back to his own band probably opening for INXS....lol......Ty really impressed me for the first time last night.....but I'm just not sure.....I could definitely see him on Broadway.... the next few weeks should be very interesting!
JD--again, outside the attitude, he hasn't shown much diversity since the two first performances...which deserved standing ovations! He's sinking. He butchered Queen, and couldn't get back from it. At least, Jordis got back up and finished the song, sounding better. It was one line of a chorus!
We can still have drama without JD. Marty has some drama coming from him. Collectively, there's a lot of drama with everyone. I don't watch reality shows for that reason. I don't need it.
It is getting hard to decide who is the best.
I love watching Ty! He can sing dance and some rock. He gets the crowd going. So what if he's a stage performer! It adds to the enjoyment of entertaining. It also gives him more confidence on stage--and it shows. Whether you like him or his voice or not, except for the one song he had a hard time with, he's been almost perfect in all his performances.
Suzie is a very strong contender. Whether she looks right, shouldn't matter. She is also got a lot going for her.
I think we need to hear the ones who haven't sang INXS songs, perform the songs before we can really see how they will go. It really comes down to that. The other songs don't really matter, because I doubt that INXS will be performing much of other people's music.
None of them can compare to Michael Hutchence. However, JD does have the voice for the old material and should be the singer. He is the biggest fan of the band and not just some reality talent show contestant like the others. Marty should listen to Listen Like Thieves or X before making a comment that kids today like System of a Down. INXS was and is a party rock band and not some angry heavy metal group. Bad call on Marty's part. INXS, please have the contestants start singing some of your other somgs such as This Time, The One Thing, Heaven Sent, etc. It comes accross to the audience that besides Kick you never had a career.....
I think that j.d. would be Inxs' worst nightmare!! He is a jerk and a prima donna. He would cause a lot of tension and dissention. Watching him sing makes me cringe. Suzie needs to be a solo act because she is great! Ty is a lounge act at the worst and maybe musical theatre at the best. Jordis is o.k. but really needs a stronger voice. Marty is really good but I think he needs to be in an acoustical group (i.e. Nirvana). Mig is definitely my favorite. He shows the greatest overall musical talent and has stage presence that is the most enjoyable to watch.
I said it before and I'll say it again.......JD must go. He has proven time and again that he is not a team player. A band IS NOT just a singer, guitarist, bass player or drummer individually, but all of them combined, coming together as ONE. INXS sees the behind the scenes video and I truley believe that they see through JD's bullmanure. Go Marty......He has the whole package. I didn't vote but people who did should be ashamed.....How can you explain Jordis not being in the bottom three after she butchered one of the best classic rock tunes of all time like DREAM ON....she totally sucked Tuesday night
I might be stepping on some peoples toes but I just don't see a women fronting this band and that includes Ty.....I say in comes down to either Marty or Mig in the end.
Migs and Marty were definitely awesome with their respective original songd, but I would have to say that Mig was the better singer between the two men. This is due to the fact that he sings with a special kind of conviction which could only emanate from "pinoys".
Mig and Marty are such nice guys. But does that a rock star make? Yeah Mig is hot to look at, and Marty seems to get all "intense" on cue, but their performances and their personalities really don't seem that interesting, much less sexy. (Yeah, I know, y'all don't share my view!)
The J.D. situation cracks me up. I think he wanted to be in the band so bad that he made that comment a long time ago about already knowing the songs which pissed everyone off. And the whole thing degenerated from there. Well darn him for being eager (and talented)! But why wouldn't the band want someone who was chomping at the bit? At least he makes you sit up and take notice. At the last elimination Ty babbled stuff about wanting to dance, which Deanna echoed on her knees! I guess now it's okay to show that you really, really want it.
Talented. Sexy. Those words describe Suzie who caught my eye the second week. It's been great to see her self-confidence build. Could a girl really win? I doubt it, even though people are saying she's the dark horse. It would be great if it came to pass. Remember when she sang Never Tear Us Apart? In my opinion she is the one with the right "vibe" for INXS music - past and future.
Why is it that you always report the facts of what happened for all the rockers except JD? You always have to add a personal comment, which is always a bad one, about JD. It's obvious you don't like JD. Can you write a recap with out bashing JD everytime. Try and report the facts, you don't have to add comment about JD all the time!
Will said: Therefore, I , Will, the second biggest fan and because you are busy getting between your girlfriend and the house band, am now volunteering to comfort in any way possible the sexy rockin’ blonde diva Deanna! I know I am a kind person........
Will, I never claimed that I am Number One fan – you can take that slot if it pleases you! I have never been Number One fan of anything or anyone!
You know something ‘kind’ Will! Nice try, but lay off comforting the Blondie! :P
She is married! Her hubby, who by the way was present during the performance night with his mother, would do all the comforting! Thanks very much!
LOL! I had to re-read the deal with house-band and my girl, because the first time I read it, I went, “Huh?”
Don’t worry! I never even bother getting busy; my girl develops daily crushes as do I! We both know no one can handle either of us, but us! So I don’t mind it, neither does she! I think!
However, I think we need to find you a nice girl, if there isn’t someone special in your life already! I don’t think its fair for me to suffer alone!
Now let’s see if anyone from the RS mansion works for you!
Jordis is already going steady – so she’s out!
Suzie is nice, you even like her – but here’s a thing, some people are speculating that romance is in the air at the mansion!
Ok, read the following at your own risk!
Apparently, people report that Suzie and J.D. are now more than best friends!
From the last show – there was informal Q&A session, where audience asked certain questions to the remaining contestants! While INXS were deliberating the fate of bottom three!
One question was “What was the most memorable moment in the mansion, which the rockers would take away from this experience?”
Suzie replied, “Seeing J.D.’s hairy behind (not the exact word) in my face!” and J.D. retorted, “Which Time?”
That image just made my therapist richer!
Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Ok, so Will is still available, any volunteers?
Will said: When I see JD, I am reminded of the story of the turtle who lets a scorpion talk him into a ride across the stream, to only wind up stung in the end. Just as the turtle dies he hears the scorpion exclaim “well you knowed I wus a scorpion”!
Hey, wait a minute, I am a Scorpio and I never actually sting! Well, I do sting, but only when I have to kill and that has happened only once! Don’t you dare insult us Scorpions by comparing J.D. to us! :P
Apparently, J.D. fans found out that like MH, J.D.’s Moon-Sign is Scorpio! So unless you were talking about Moon-Sign Scorpions, you are way out of line! LOL!
Will said: I don’t quite understand the INXS bashing. These guy are and were part a musical happening, they were worldwide rock superstars. These guys don’t need the money, they are richer than rich. Actually, I have to disagree that INXS don’t need the money, everyone needs money! Let’s get real! Yes, you are right that they found the fame and all that, but the fact is now if INXS wants to step into the market, they cannot depend on their past glories!
Ok, I agree that opinions of teenyboppers might not settle well with seasoned music connoisseurs. However, let’s be fair, if they are going to buy the music, their opinions do count!
Look every decade brings a new trend,
Like 70s – Disco,
80s – Punk,
90s – Boy-bands &
2 K brought Hip-hop / Rap!
But there are singers like Norah Jones & Joss Stone to counter the likes of Britney and Hilary! John Mayer counters likes of Justin Timberlake, etc…
So you have your choice, if you don’t want to hear, “Oops, I did it again!” You can listen to, “Don’t Know Why”
I mean to counter J.D. don’t we have people (including us) supporting Jordis, Suzie, Marty and MiG?
Opinions are not facts, so I don’t see why people should not have diverse opinions!
I mean if J.D. wins the deal, I won’t buy the CD or go for the concerts! It’s my choice! Those who want to do the opposite can go ahead and do it!
Who or what are tuna sisters, by the way?
By the way, I like Eminem, because I find his tracks funny more than anything else! I loved ‘Stan’ and ‘Like Toy Soldiers’! Usher? He is good, isn’t he? I mean agreed, he is no Marvin Gaye, but I like him!
Time would tell, if any of the artistes would actually become legends!
Most people we consider legends were not well received by the previous generation.
I mean when Elvis came to the scene, he was an extremely controversial character and weren’t people stating that Rock & Roll was evil?
Same was said about Metal and Rock; it didn’t help when Devil was glorified by Rock groups! Look at Marilyn Manson – he actually scares me! (Not the music, but the way he presents himself!)
Yet, right now we consider Elvis as a legend and bands like KISS (tongue and all), etc to be legendary! To be fair, the names you mentioned have no rock affiliation, so I cannot answer the question truthfully!
I realized something; the reason why I got emotional, when Deanna left was because she left us all with the naked truth, she left without any illusions, because she is right, those who leave reality show competitions are never heard from again!
My only desire is that Deanna does not fade away, but the fact is every show Mark Burnett produces is his own ego trip! So I don’t think that these rockers would just disappear, because let’s face it, rock has seen better days and to find such talent is like finding gold-mine!
Besides, look at the contestants of The Apprentice and The Survivor! Didn’t Mark Burnett shell out millions just to show how Rob and Amber got married? Which I never saw!!!
I believe age has nothing to do with maturity, look at J.D. he is 31 for crying out loud! So let’s not bash the teenyboppers to counter INXS bashing! :)
Will said: Don’t worry about me I have a helmet! I had to get it out of my system.
Love em’ , especially Suzie and Mig!
Good for you! And Me too! But add Jordis and Marty to the equation!
Oh by the way – I forgot ‘Welcome to curlio.com officially’!
J.D. was asked by Brooke about why he started "playing the game" the way he did, he said, "We were all really good, and I thought we all really wanted badly, and this was a reality show, you know... so I came into this thinking it was Survivor meets...I don't know what. I thought that that was how everyone was playing it. Next thing I know, it's just me, and well...I've tried to adjust that."

If you want the facts only, watch the show or find another site. You're never going to get that here, so deal with it. No, I don't like JD, but I can admit he's a good performer. He's also been acting like an arrogant *for virtually the entire series - something that most fans of JD can even admit. Sorry, but if he wants to act like an ass, I'm going to call him on it. And for the record, my comments on JD were rather mild this time because he was decently well-behaved. Re-reading my article, I only found one slighly disparaging remark about JD.
I would like to thank the prior few, I love JD, replies for the inspiration and smiles they have given me. Yes. I have at least arrived at a couple of titles for future articles in the new magazine, “Today’s Abused Person”. Yes, it is a new one but evidently it’s time has come.

Do you get it? We get that JD wants it. We don’t want him, he is evil!
And Sprout! WOW, heck boy, I am delighted to be your muse!

Wow! This show is getting intense. I never watch the elimination shows....too suspensful! Maybe I better start. But [after reading this on curlio] I was very shocked that Marty was in the bottom three. I too was hoping it would either be JD, Ty, or Suzie (mostly JD....even though he did do pretty good). But I'll have to agree with some of you on the fact that Marty was a little scary Tuesday night. Maybe if he had toned down a bit he would have not been in the bottom three. I'm pretty sure that Suzie and Ty will be the next to go...as much as I like them. They are nice people. But...I still hope that Marty and Jordis lose (*guilty*) so they can go back to their bands and get real big!!! I think they are too good for INXS.
