Lionel Richie says that the gossip about his daughter Nicole Richie bothers him more than it bothers her.
"I'll be honest with you, it hurts me more than it hurts her," the 57-year-old R&B singer tells "Access Hollywood" in an interview that was to air Monday. "I must tell you, I'm the basket case."
Lionel is hopeful that Nicole will add on some extra pounds. It seems he has been talking to her about it for awhile, but she herself had finally admitted that she had a problem in a Vanity Fair interview.
Lionel has a new album coming out on September 12th, "Coming Home."
I hear she gets plenty of beef whistle in her diet. I wonder why her father isn't concerned about those rumours.
btw, where did that Blaze quote come from? I used to know someone who used that name from the old Bikkel message board(a few people here know what I'm talking about).
nicole richie is a really great person and i love her o death wich i know she hears that alot but me personaly i want to see her have fun and go shopping and not havt to worry about her weight its her life and SHE decides if she wants to lose weight (yes) i know she is really skinny but i just want to say this to her and she might not get it cause shes got better things to do then here people talk crap about her but hear me out ''Nicole i adore you youre great,funny,and someone who can speak there mind,wich is good,but dont make your body and yourself go thur pain just to look good for the holly wood people youre a good person and treat youself like it and if no one will back you up on it you know that there is a 15 year old girl who is turning 16 real soon and lives in Virgina that loves you i will always back you up and ill be thinking about you. sincerly with love Krissy
