Beyonce fans revolt against new video

Apparently thousands of Beyonce fans are angry about her new video for Deja Vu. They have started a petition demanding that the video be reshot.

The petition states, in part: "This petition is for the advocacy of having Ms. Beyonce' Knowles, Columbia Records, Music World Entertainment, and all other entities associated with the creative process of creating the long-form music video known as "Deja Vu" reshoot aforementioned video immediately.This video is an underwhelming representation of the talent and quality of previous music video projects of Ms. Knowles." The petition goes on to list 7 problems with the video.

At the moment the petition has just a smidge over 3400 signatures.

As some extremely rude random guest very rudely pointed out - while sticking his foot so deeply in his mouth that it came out the other end, there is a petition started by the pro-video fans which you can find here. FYI, I would have said that the first petition was silly (the anti-video one) as it's just a video afterall and not her life's work. But whenever you slam anyone against a wall, they tend to go the opposite way you want them to - so I strongly urge everyone to sign the anti-video petition, just because the pro-video fan was so disgustingly rude. Tip for the future - niceness gets you much further.

We did not make up the petition, if you'd have more brains you would have used the CONTACT form to inform us of the other petition and we would have updated. The real fan petition in support of Deja Vu has about 5000 signatures. 	I really don't see what all the hype is about with the new video. Beyonce is over 21 and fully dressed in this vidoe shot with new luv Jay-Z. I think alot of people are just inhibited and wish they could be more like B....In closing there are much bigger issues to worry about than a music video (Hezbollah, Al Queda; c'mon people). 	Jealous, Jealous. did I say Jealous. Truth of the matter is Beyonce is so hot right now and some of you cant stand it. Her video is no more vulgar then the many videos shot daily in hip-hop with almost naked girls dancing and waving their hips like bellie dancers. Have we forgot the Thong Song. Not only was it a dumb song( and where by the way is that artist now?) It sold millions. It was very vulgar as the women were almost naked safe for a piece of material wedge between their buttocks. No one complained about that. No one complains about the shows that come on TV. like sex and the city(nudity and sexual situations). Well GET OVER IT. Beyonce is going to be even Larger Once her movie is released. If you dont like her video change the channel. Its that simple.

	This petition is a hot mess. As an aspiring director, I felt the video was well done and clearly conveyed the theme that the song's lyrics outline. The concept of the video is based on the idea of beyonce hallucinating or having visions which are associated with insanity. Her wardrobe, make-up, hair and coriography suport that theme. Lastly, the video was very well directed and shot and of the highest quality. The editing, which I thought flowed seemlessly with the dancing, was crisp and very well executed. I did, however not like ow she was chewing the gum with Jay-z but everything else was great. Keep it up B, and for those of you who hated the video so much, how about you attach some monetay support to solve YOUR problems instead of complaining to everyone else

	there is nothing wrong with the video or the song. it is no worse than all the other moronic videos out there. okay, the worst thing may be that jay-z taps her *and grabs her crotch. it just shows that he considers his girlfriend a trophy. considering how publicly scrutinized their relationship is he may not want to be sexually graphic with his girlfriend in a music video as though she was just another "video ho". nevertheless, the video does not warrant all the opposition. the dancing is fine. beyonce seems to like simulating african dance in her videos.

	There is nothing wrong with her video it might not go with the song to well.But you know what I kinda like it is is not that bad like everybody else I know said half of the people that are talking real bad about her and her video and all that Jay-Z stuff they are hating on her.All I have to say is B don't let this get to you gurl I love ya and keep doing what ya do.
