 Chris Daughtry scores Fuel guitarist, others for debut album curlio

New Album/Single American Idol Season four alumnus Chris Daughtry didn't win the title on the show, but he may have scored the best collaborators for his debut album. The album, due on November 21st, will feature Fuel guitarist Carl Bell, Three Doors Down singer Brad Arnold, SR-7 singer Mitch Allan, and Rob Thomas. It's being produced by Howard Benson, the man behind My Chemical Romance and All-American Rejects.

Apparently Chris has been doing some writing on his own and with some songwriters for the album.
"I'm writing on my own, as well as getting together with some great artists and songwriters who I've always respected and who have expressed an interest in collaborating with me," Daughtry said in a statement.
He's also gathering a band to play on the album and on tour with him. The band will be called Daughtry. Hmmm, I wonder if they will be introduced as "Chris Daughtry and Daughtry" or "Chris and the Daughtrys" either way it still sounds stupid.
