 Mario Vazquez releasing debut album curlio

New Album/Single Mario Vazquez, who abruptly dropped out of American Idol on Season 4 after making the top 12, is set to release his debut album on September 26th. You've no doubt heard his first single "Gallery" all over the radio. It seems that leaving American Idol might have given him a longer route to the top, but the top none the less.
"I definitely feel that I've accomplished something great," the 29-year-old told Texas' Brownsville Herald. "As long as I'm happy, I'm good. I think it's a great album."
Honestly I'm a little shocked. I've been humming that song for about a week now without realizing it was Mario Vazquez. I heard them say "Mario" but never really made the connection. While part of me wishes he would do badly simply because he deliberately took advantage of the fans who adored him on the show long enough to get some notice before bailing out, I'm also happy to see him doing well.
