Legend and his label, Sony BMG, are teaming up with Verizon
Wireless to let fans on the wireless network choose the song
after they listen to excerpts of the two on their cell phones.

Record labels have been experimenting with new ways to keep
fans tuned in to their stars as traditional radio faces greater
competition for listening time from digital music players and
Internet music channels.
