 Part of Beach Boys lawsuit thrown out curlio

Legal Stuff A judge threw out part of a lawsuit brought by Beach Boys member Mike Love against former Beach Boys member Al Jardine. Love says that he's the only one allowed to tour as the Beach Boys, but Jardine has used versions of the name while touring.
Superior Court Judge James R. Dunn threw out claims of breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty but gave Love's lawyer a chance to amend the case before it goes to trial on Nov. 6.
Love wants $2 million from Jardine in the lawsuit.
