Rolling Stone has an interesting article up about Rock Star: Supernova winner, Lukas Rossi. They spent some time with him after winning and talked to him about winning. It seems that Tommy Lee had pegged Lukas as the winner when he first saw him.
And Tommy, for one, called it early on. "As soon as I first saw him, I thought, 'That's our man.' It wasn't necessarily about finding the best singer or the right look, it was about finding the guy -- or girl -- that could front this band . . . and Lukas is that person."
Among the interesting tidbits in the article:

Lukas dumped his girlfriend, leaving her stranded outside a club while he was nice and cozy inside (page two, for that one by the way).

But I can't help but chuckle as I picture Lukas, all demented and mutated hobbit-like hobbling up to the sexy Hooter babes, handing them an order as he drools and leers at them. Meanwhile, out at a table, a man yells at a waitress as there is sparkly eyeshadow in his food - little does he know it came from the cook.
I would rather have toby win then lukas!!! He wears WAY too much makup!!!!! I missed the finale. I am glad... if Lucas was the best rocker to front Supernova... then I am not a bit interested in Supernova. Toby Rand... Storm Large... Dilana... and Magni were all better that Lukas Rossi! I never heard one cover that I enjoyed from Lukas... and his originals... what?! I hope Storm and Toby kick *in a solo career so I can jam to that manure!

Well you all don't know the full story about Luckas at all.
The true story I know about him but not telling .
The story out is for press to get sales for the tour.
The truth is alot different then what you think.
I'll say like him, " I don't want to talk about that"
I enjoy these forums not just for the brilliant insights but also to everyones well thought out arguments.None of wich are relevant to a band picking a singer.If this was AI then you are right about your opinions being relevant.But it isn't so it boils down to talent much like on NFL draft day.Almost all talent agents in this industry would have Lukas at the top of the board some as a big step up over number 2 Dilana.Toby is barely a top 5 talent.
Lukas is much more accomplished if you check out the wealth of his very substantial solo stuff that he has then it becomes obvious that he is in a completely different league than this lot.
