How he managed it, I'm not sure, but teenyboppers around the world will cry in horror with the news that Aaron Carter has scored himself a Playboy Model. Aaron, 18, is the man to be today, as he is now engaged to Kari Ann Peniche. Kari Ann won Miss United States Teen in 2003, but lost the title after posing nude for Playboy's November 2004 issue.
It gets even more creepy, for those not already curling up in horror. Kari, 22, used to date Nick Carter first, Aaron's older brother and Backstreet Boy.
"I don't remember it happening. It was such a blur," says Peniche about Saturday's (Sept. 16) proposal in Las Vegas during the Playboy Comedy Tour at the Palms Casino Resort. "I had no idea he was going to do this, but I'm glad he did."
Peniche, 22, previously dated Carter's older brother Nick, of the Backstreet Boys, but that didn't stop her from taking up with the younger sibling, whom she eventually fell for.
Aaron was very brave, proposing in front of 200 people in Las Vegas over the weekend.
