Jakob Dylan, frontman for the Wallflowers and youngest son of Bob Dylan, has signed with Columbia Records. The Wallflowers left Interscope Records last year, though it's not known what will become of the band. Meanwhile Jakob has been busy writing songs for the series "Six Degrees."
Dylan, the youngest son of Bob Dylan, is busy recording tracks for use on the new ABC drama "Six Degrees." Dylan's rendition of the show's theme, "Here Comes Now," was produced by Steve Lillywhite and will debut Thursday during the season premiere.
Jakob is also working on heading to the studio, possibly with T Bone Burnett who produced the Wallflowers Interscope debut "Bringing Down the Horse."
This is such great news. Maybe Columbia will promote him and we'll actually hear about albums he releases. I just found out about his latest album relased a year and a half ago. I was watching Six Degrees and heard a song on it that I instantly loved and knew it was his voice. He is really a talented singer and writer. I love his voice and can't wiat to hear more from him!
