Elton John weighs in on more celebs

Elton John likes to talk about other people. In the past these "other people" have included Madonna and George Michael. This time around Whitney Houston and Clay Aiken were named.

Whitney, he says, is lucky to be divorcing Bobby Brown because he's no good for her.

On Houston, who recently filed for divorce from Bobby Brown after 14 years of marriage, John says, "Bobby's not good for her, and because of the addiction thing, she keeps going back. The writing was on the wall many, many years ago with that one."

As for Clay, Elton says that he's not interested in the speculation over Clay's sexuality. He says that's none of his business anyhow.

	I'm sick and tired they way the press, magazine, and sites like this try to do a character assination on Elton John. You make it sound like he's just spontaneously jump up on a soapbox and gave vent to his views. When in fact he was asked his opinion in an interview and he gave it. What is he meant to do? claim the 5th ammendment and say nothing? Some interview that would be. He has opinions, we all have opinions, and nore oftern than not what Elton says is what everybody else is thinking anyway. It's a bit much when someone interviews him and asks his opinion on someone or something and then has the nerve to write up the interview accusing him of being opinionated or blasting and slamming someone when all he's done is answer their stupid question.

	Yeah, Elton does get negatively painted by the media as a drama queen. Sometimes rightly so. But in this instance, they asked for his opinion and he gave it. That said, he's absolutely right. Whitney was an amazing talent before she hooked up with Brown. It has been downhill ever since. Her drug problem has no doubt played havok with her once unmatched singing voice. The whole scrawny crack loose woman image doesn't look good on her. I hope she cleans herself up. As for Clay Aiken.. Who cares if he's gay? That's his business. Even if he is, does it change the way you feel about his music? If so, then you have bigger issues than Clay does.
