Jon Peter Lewis releasing debut album

Two years after appearing on Season three of American Idol, one of the fan favorite's Jon Peter Lewis is releasing his debut solo album. JPL says that he had offers that he could have accepted. He wanted to work on his own style and his own terms however. "Stories from Hollywood," due November 7th, is the result of that. "Looking back, it would have been a lot easier to jump into one of the offers handed to me, but it would have been a mistake to try and be somebody I wasn't," the 26-year-old Lincoln, Nebraska, native said. "My heart just wasn't into being a ballad singer or creating a teenybopper image. I've always felt more comfortable with a rock edge. 
Hopefully Jon's fans will turn out to support him and buy his album. Fans in Hollywood also have the chance to see him perform live. He'll be performing at the Viper Room on October 18th.
