Just before the weekend, Paris Hilton was released from jail and put under house arrest.
Now it seems that the sheriff decided to do so because Paris was not eating or sleeping and was crying all the time. When the judge found out that Paris was not in jail anymore, he summoned Paris to his courtroom and sent her back to jail. The judge decides where people are serving their sentence, not the sheriff. An investigation has been started as to why the sheriff thought he was allowed to sent Paris home.
Paris was dragged to the courtroom apparently crying and screaming where she heard she was put back in jail, but this time not for the reduced time but for the full 45 days of the original sentence.
"This decision sends the message that no individual — no matter how wealthy or powerful — is above the law," Delgadillo said in a statement after Sauer's ruling. "Today, justice was served."

Paris is not appealing the decision and is hoping others will learn from her mistakes.
