 Hilton's Jail stay legacy continues dusty

Legal Stuff Hilton's Jail sentence might have only been for 45 days, she might have only stayed there for 23 days, but the story continues as an investigation has begun to examine the conditions under which Hilton served her days there.

According to Sheriff Deputies, Hilton got a new uniform to wear while normally all uniforms are recycled. Paris also allegedly got access to a cell-phone while all the other inmates had to use pay phones. Another claim is that her mail was delivered by a captain instead of the normal delivery by other inmates.
"We're going to investigate it and get to the bottom of it and find out exactly what happened," he said.

The department was previously accused of giving Hilton special treatment when it released her for unspecified medical reasons after just three days in jail.

She was later ordered to return to jail by a court.

Now it's easy to explain why the mail was delivered by a captain, after all it would be very likely that other inmates might want to get their hands on that mail and sell it on E-Bay.

The clothing and cell-phone claims are a bit more difficult to defend. In any case, the Sheriff should have expected that he would have had to keep the rules the same for every inmate, especially after the press attention when he first released her too early.
