Bo Bice takes his career back and partners with Wal-Mart

Bo Bice, runner-up for season 4 of American Idol, will release his second album "See the Light" exclusively in Wal-Mart stores. While Bo says he enjoyed making "The Real Thing," he was happy to get back to what he truly is through this album.

The artist tells Billboard.com, "I enjoyed 'The Real Thing,' but [the new album] is more a labor of love. It's really me getting back to the roots of what Bo is, which is a Southern rock album and nothing more."

Bo had more say in what went into the album, which is being released on the independent label StartAct. The album is due out October 23rd, while the first single, "Witness" will hit radio later this month.

Bo did say he is grateful to AI for launching his career. He acknowledges that none of it would have been possible it wasn't for AI.

Despite not liking his sound, I'm happy that he managed to break free and do his own thing. I also like that he still has gratitude for American Idol, unlike some ungrateful past losers who don't give AI the credit they deserve for launching their careers.

	I am glad to hear Bo Bice is putting out another album. I bought "The Real thing" It was o.k. I really like his voice and will buy this album. I am looking foward to hearing what Bo is really about. I like his graditude towards American Idol. This guy has class.

	I love Bo but I'm disappointed he's partnering with Walmart. Anyone see the documentary "Walmart: The High Cost of Low Price"? They're an awful abusive company. If I knew Bo's address I'd send him a copy of the dvd. I don't buy from Walmart so if that's the only place to buy Bo's new album I guess I'll have to do without for now.
