Finally, Indians chose their Third Indian Idol and it might not come as a huge surprise to most viewers as the outcome was debatably decided ages ago.

For the people who have no clue about what I am talking about, here’s the name of the Third Indian Idol…

So Darjeeling wins!

Many might believe that his friendly nemesis Amit Paul should have been the winner of Indian Idol 3, and to an extent their belief might be valid, but Amit’s future is bright despite the loss and also Amit’s fans should take heart in knowing that the winner this year is any day better than the Idol last year.

A detailed analysis of the most ghastly planned Finale would be posted soon, so watch this space!

	I am just glad that this big farse came to an end... dont know whats the big deal about talent in this show and the crap the judges dished out in the name of being experts...... the participants in the other show on Zee TV are miles better........

	This is a true representation of our country's ethosand value system.We are a democracy where the voice of majority counts. The majority does not believe in merit but believes in caste reservations and regions. You can see the reflections in the political set up where highly incompetent individuals get elected. In system where voters decide the fate of a Music competition, the result did not surprise me.

	Well,i think Prashant deserve the crown of Idol.Didn't you observe that he sang the real song (Idol's album-3) far better than Amit Paul. He won because of his plain and pure heart and great spirit. We should heartly welcome him as Indian Idol-3

	The meaning of the word "Indian Idol" is truly representative of the qualities of Prashant Tamang. A man growing up in poverty, fighting the hardships of his own life yet having the dreams to be the best. A man with blood of brave men willing to die for the sake of the country and society. A man with such courage to dare to beat his much more proclaimed opponents. A man with such belief in himself not to be shaken by harshness of dubious judgements. Yet a man with such humility, simplicity and sincerity that is adorable and unparallel. Most of all a man with such sweet voice to mesmerise the audience. India and Indian idol ahould be proud to have an idol like him who not only is an idol in the singing competition but also in real life. He is an outstanding singer and an outstanding human being.

	Prashant won because of his simplicity, attitude, kind heart and off course voice. Amit lost it because of over confidence, incapable of cramming songs properly.

	Prashant is a good singer,but Amit was the one eligible to win. This shows how much talent is respected in our country. I saw in the news that people in Dargeeling had opened local polling booths to vote for prashant. Thats actually not good because vote shouldn't be asked for. Any way we have the result and I am not happy with it. I just Admire Amits voice.
