If you're anything like me, you've been waiting impatiently for Mandy Moore's next album. Don't get me wrong. I thought she was excellent in "A Walk to Remember", and you can bet I'll be the first in line when her next movie "How to Deal" hits the silver screen. But what I have really missed is her studio work. She was only fifteen when her first album "So Real" hit store shelves, and even then, I knew she was an artist worth watching, and that she would only improve as she matured. From the sounds of the snipets of her new album, "Coverage", she is living up to expectations!
The clips are short, and its hard to say how the quality of the overall album will be, but one thing you can definitely hear right off is just how much her voice has improved. She has dropped a full octave, her voice control is just incredible, and her style has developed into something that is all her own.
The album is scheduled to be released in September, with the first single to be released in August. If you would like to learn more, visit her website here. A popup will bring you a letter from Mandy telling you more, with links to samples from her new album.
