Jasmine Trias, the American Idol contestant that ended up on the third place in the competition got offered a record deal that will get her at least $100.000 the first year.
The label that offered her a contract is Quiet Storm, which is an independant record company from Hawaii. They do not have any big name artists on their label and it seems they have mainly reggea and Hawaiian music.

hey!!!!! hope jasmine will make it big!!!!! prove them that although they said she didn't perform great in american idol still she have the right to shine, the judges just can't accept the fact that america loves jasmine not only hawaii coz they know jasmine is a true person and though the judges always gave her not so good criticisms still she just smiled and show to them that she can make it with full confidence!!!!! i hope she won't change!!!!!! the true AMERICAN IDOL ^_^
all i can say about jasmine she is a nice girl and has good in singing and she makes the people happy when she smile and i think she has a good attitude towards to other people even some never lik her but, dont mind them follow your dream jazzy dont forget ask god guidance and protection.........good luk in your career from all of your fans here in cebu city phils...
Jasmine, I'm really proud of you and your accomplishments. I think you should have been in the final 2 with diana instead fantasia. I think you do need to have one more year of singing lessons to strengthen your voice a bit more, but other than that I think you were phenomenal. Simon was dead wrong about when he said what he thought of you when you sang it's raining men, I thought that was one of the 2 best versions I heard, and I mean better than the 80's version. I was probably one of the people in the u.s. who voted for you the most times. I voted for you an average of about 220 times each week. My record was about 500 something times. I think you are as beautiful and sweet as your voice is. I thought you were the most attractive contestant in the 3rd season of american idol. It was always a pleasure to watch you on stage. You and Diana were the 2 most talented singers on the 3rd season of American Idol. You and Diana combined have almost as much talent as Clay Aiken. I hope you accept a record contract and release an album because I'm dying to hear you in an album. Good luck in your career and don't give up.
