A Reebok advertisement in the UK featuring 50 Cent has been pulled by the company after complaints. In the advertisement, it shows 50 Cent counting the number of times he was shot.
According to Advertising Standards Authority spokeswoman Donna Mitchell, over 50 viewers complained that the commercial "glamorizes and perhaps glorifies gun culture." The ad, which is part of Reebok's "I Am What I Am" campaign, features 50 Cent counting to nine in reference to the number of times he's been shot.
Reebok's spokeswoman said the ad was intented to be a positive celebration of the "right of freedom of self-expression, individuality, and authenticity." Yeah right, and the fact that he's hot and popular had nothing to do with it.
what he trying to say is that he got shot 9 times and lives . who else done that before . he makes more than some of these abtors that dont even have any scars. hes about to top the beattles. hes been on the chart from the day his album can out to now. and they saying it glorifies gun violence.he just letting people know what he went through.itsjust the white people being jeolous of a rich black man.
